Official Opening Of New Exeter Service Centre
Alliance Healthcare highlighted its continued commitment to healthcare services and partnerships at the official opening of its new Exeter Service Centre yesterday. The new state-of-the-art Service Centre, which spans over 5,500 square metres, provides a service for more than 1,000 pharmacists, hospitals and doctors in the South West of England, making around 1,800 deliveries and distributing an average of 100,000 products every day.

Alliance Healthcare Flu PGD For 2010 To Include Tamiflu
Independent pharmacists planning to offer seasonal flu vaccinations as a private PGD service this autumn/winter can now enrol in Alliance Healthcare’s Flu Vaccination Training Programme for 2010. The programme offers clinical training as well as all round support in administering and marketing the PGD service.

Success For Alliance Healthcare’s Seasonal Flu Pgd As Nottingham Independent Completes Over 100 Vaccinations
Independent pharmacist Dhiren Raval has demonstrated how independents can successfully deliver a local patient service by administering over 100 seasonal flu vaccinations since the launch of his service. Dhiren’s pharmacy, the Bingham Pharmacy in Nottingham, is operating this innovative service, after taking part in the Flu PgD training programme facilitated by Alliance Healthcare.

Almus launches five new niche lines
Almus Pharmaceuticals announces the addition of five new key products to the Almus® range of generic medicines, taking the range to over 250 lines in total. The introduction of Hydrocortisone 10mg and 20mg, Dexamethasone 2mg (50 and 100 pack) and Clonidine Hydrochloride 25mcg further ensure the range has the appropriate balance of important niche lines as well as the top generics required in the dispensary.
