ALPHEGA PHARMACY STRENGTHENS UK SUPPORT TEAM
Alphega Pharmacy UK is pleased to confirm the continued
expansion of its support team in order to meet the needs of its growing
membership base. Drawing expertise from within UniChem and Boots UK (including
the former Alliance Pharmacy legacy business), the Alphega Pharmacy UK team has
significantly grown in strength in recent months.
Sue Moore recently joined the team as General Manager of
Alphega Pharmacy UK and is responsible for the ongoing development
of the commercial strategy and brand within the UK market. Sue brings a wealth
of retail experience to the role having worked for a number of years within
both Boots the Chemists and the Alliance Pharmacy chains, latterly in the role
of General Manager, Health & Beauty and Supply Chain, Boots UK, playing a
key role in the development of the ‘your local Boots pharmacy’ concept.
Other recent additions to the team include Richard Janes who
has been appointed to the role of Retail Consultant and Martin
Queen who has moved from his role within the UniChem field sales
force to become Alphega Pharmacy Business Manager for Scotland.
In July 2008 Kate White was appointed to the role of Operations
Consultant having previously worked within the UniChem field sales
force for a number of years.
Also in July, Pauline Chalder and Miles Benstead
were appointed as Alphega Pharmacy Regional Business Managers.
Between them Pauline and Miles boast an impressive 30 years experience within
the Pharmacy sector having previously occupied senior positions within the
UniChem field sales force.

the UK in November 2007. It is essential that we have the right level of
support in place for our members and I am delighted with the high calibre of
the individuals that we now have working in the team. This means that we are in
