UniChem update concerning PPRS trade prices from Tuesday 17 February

UniChem is pleased to confirm that from Tuesday 17 February it will be implementing new PPRS trade prices, on the remaining 36 products which it had held at the old price since 1 February

John Geddes, Sales Director comments:

“We are pleased to now be implementing the new PPRS prices on the remaining products which we had been required to hold until now. As we have previously communicated UniChem needed to ensure that it was able to maintain supply of medicines to patients, whilst ensuring that our business was not impacted by the significant devaluation of the stock we had retained.

“We would once again like to thank customers for their understanding in what has been an exceptional circumstance. We sincerely hope that those manufacturers which didn’t assist this time will reconsider their disruptive actions for the future”
