The regulation changes, which came into affect from 31 December 2010, mean pharmacies now have to comply with a number of compulsory requirements as part of their ‘essential’ services.  The regulations also enable pharmacies to provide `optional advanced` services, stoma customisation and Appliance Use Reviews (AUR’s).
