Register to use your documents
- Download the registration form
- Enter your details, and fax back to 0191 271 5788 or post to Customer IT, 4 Pooley Close, Westerhope, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE5 2TF
- We will send email you your login details by email
How to
Opt-in to receive eStatements
- Login to your documents
- Click My account from the main navigation
- Confirm your password
- Tick the box next to I want to receive eStatements
- Tick the box next to Email me when my statements are ready to download
- Click Update to save your settings
Search for multiple invoice numbers
- Login to your documents
- Click Invoices from the main navigation.
- Select a date range
- Under advanced search, enter the invoice number(s) you want to search for
- Separate your invoice numbers with a comma, for example: B99A12345,B98A12399,B97A12344
- Click Search

Can’t opt-out of eStatements
Summary
The eStatement option appears greyed out in the first time user or my account settings page.
Resolution
- If another person is set up as a “Group user”, they have overall control of the eStatement options for all accounts within that group.
- If the group user has opted-in to receive eStatements, all child accounts will be automatically opt-in.
- It is not possible to opt-out a single account.
PDFs do not appear in Google Chrome
Google Chrome has a built-in PDF viewer which is enabled by default. When viewing documents directly in the your documents website, the PDF does not appear.
Workaround: Disable the Google Chrome PDF viewer.
- Ensure that the Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed. Download from http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/
- In Google Chrome, type about:plugins into the address bar, hit enter
- In the list of plugins, click Disable next to Chrome PDF Viewer
- Click Enable next to Adobe Acrobat (Adobe PDF plugin for Firefox and Netscape)
Google Chrome prompts to download a web page when viewing a document
When trying to view a statement, invoice or credit note, Google Chrome tries to download the site as a webpage. You’re prompted to download a file called resultsviewer.aspx
Workaround: Ensure Adobe Acrobat plugin is enabled in Google Chrome
- Ensure that the Adobe Acrobat Reader is installed. Download from http://get.adobe.com/uk/reader/
- In Google Chrome, type about:plugins into the address bar, hit enter
- In the list of plugins, click Enable next to Adobe Acrobat (Adobe PDF plugin for Firefox and Netscape)
- Make sure that Chrome PDF Viewer is disabled.
PDF documents open up in Adobe Acrobat Reader
When viewing a document, it opens in Adobe Acrobat rather than within the website.
Workaround: Enable “View PDFs in browser” in Adobe Acrobat
- Open Adobe Reader
- Click Preferences from the Edit menu
- Select the Internet
- Ensure Display PDF in browser is checked
Account number selection does not select accounts
Applies to: Group account users only
In the Select multiple accounts window, clicking the Add accounts button does not appear to work.
Resolution: When an account is selected, and the Add accounts button is clicked, the account is selected, but there is no confirmation to the user.
Select accounts as required, and click the blue ‘x’ to close the window. The accounts will have been selected, and will appear in the list of accounts to search for.
