Alliance Healthcare Team Members Complete Race the Sun Lake District Compton Event

Last weekend, 12 team members from our Alliance Healthcare Support Centre and Preston Service Centre sites completed Action Medical Research - Race the Sun Lake District Compton event.

In one day the three teams each covered a: 

  🚴🏼 28 mile off-road cycle
  🛶 2 mile canoe race around the Coniston Lake
  🥾 Finishing with a hike up to the summit of Old Man Coniston at 803m, back down to finish to a                 heroes welcome at base camp!

What an incredible achievement! With thanks to our sponsor - Momentus Studios and other generous supporters, we have raised over £6,000 but are determined to bring in even more funds for such a worthwhile cause.
